Del Rio isn’t happy with Raiders punter's penalties

Night net null null null null The Raiders currently lead the Night net with 9.4 penalties per game, and coach Jack Del Rio knows the infractions need to be reduced as the team prepares for a postseason push. Del Rio also doesn't understand why any of his players — especially punter Marquette King — should get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. After all, in his 11-year playing career as a linebacker, the Raiders coach told reporters Monday he never was flagged for an unsportsmanlike penalty. Now his punter has one in back-to-back games. "He cannot have another penalty,” Del Rio said, pointing to King's latest penalty in last Thursday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs for heckling Tyreek Hill after his 78-yard punt return. "I want him to express himself. I feel that's when he's at his best, but

we can't have routine 15-yard penalties out of our punter."King was also flagged for dancing with a penalty flag two weeks ago. After both incidents, King has responded on Twitter; calling Bills cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman a "snitch," and burning Travis Kelce for his reality dating show "Catching Kelce."
