Demoff repeatedly told St. Louis fans over their final two years in the Gateway City, that the Rams were doing everything they could to keep the team in Missouri. Following January's move back to Los Angeles, Demoff himself inadvertently revealed the move had been in the works since 2013. Then there was Fisher's firing with three games remaining in his fifth straight losing season. Demoff praised Fisher two weeks ago, saying the coach's evaluation goes beyond wins and losses. He told reporters Monday the decision to fire Fisher was "solely a performance-related issue."
